Ministry and Mission Working Group Gathering Frankston

It was cold but we hot to trot, on the road to transformation. The recent long weekend  8-11th June 2024 brought together many team members from 4 working groups formed by the Ministry and Mission Steering Committee. Over 20 people gathered at Community of Christ,  Frankston Victoria, along with online participants to work together prioritizing close to 40 presentations that were put forward to be considered as part of the transformation journey. A detailed report of the process led by Anne Faulke and Jenny Robinson, along with an update on the next stages of the program, will be shared over the coming months.

Important Announcement

This past week, representatives attending the upcoming Special Mission Centre Conference on June 9th were notified that presenting a proposed budget for approval at this time would not be feasible. After careful consideration, the decision has been made to postpone the budget approval until an additional conference is scheduled for Sunday, June 30th. More details to come.

Unlike other international Peace Colloquies held at the Temple in Independence or local Peace Colloquies held online and in various locations, this Peace Colloquy will take you into places to see peace making at work in a place of conflict - Israel/Palestine.
